The Overflow Farm Stud is now located in Beechworth, Victoria.
Formerly of Western Australia, we began breeding with frozen semen in 2003. Since then we have retained a number of our fillies as future broodmares, the oldest of which was bred in spring 2008. In December 2007 we relocated to near Beechworth in North East Victoria. We will spend the next few years establishing our new 120 acre farm into a world class equestrian facility, using the safest fencing possible. We have also acquired a number of Sport Pony mares to begin breeding Sport Ponies for dressage and jumping, aiming for a large pony 14-14.2hh that smaller adults can comfortably ride, in addition to our larger warmbloods.
Our sporthorse youngsters will be suitable mounts for capable teenagers and adult riders in all Olympic disciplines or as pleasure mounts. All are sold freeze branded and registered. Foals may be reserved in-utero or prior to weaning.
In 2009/10 we stood our home bred frozen semen colt by 00Seven (Rubinstein) named Overflow Old Regret to a number of warmblood and performance mares with proven eventing and showjumping results, for some interesting 2010 foals. These will make excellent eventers in the future, with a great mix of TB and Warmblood blood.

Inspired by the bush poetry of Banjo Patterson, Henry Lawson and their peers, “The Overflow” Sporthorse stud has tried to maintain an Australian theme in naming young stock. We hope our foals will go on to be good equine citizens, with knowledgeable caring owners, and represent the stud with pride.
As a qualified Artificial Insemination Technician, we will continue to breed to the world's best sires via frozen semen, and using our own bred stallions.
We are located three hours north east of Melbourne, and 30 mins from Albury, NSW. Feel free to visit "The Overflow" by appointment and the many other attractions of historic Beechworth and the Alpine region.

13.3hh 8 yr old mare. Jinna is registered part Arab, but also carries Welsh B and Australian Pony breeding.
She has had 3 foals and has been carefully brought back into full work over the last few months.
She has attended pony club and ARC shows locally, placing in several events at her first outings.
She is a quite, sensible pony, an would suit a competent teen or small adult rider.
She is very versatile, she can jump poles and cross country courses, she is pretty and refined enough to show (placed third in best presented horse) and she is training in flatwork for dressage. She would make a super eventing pony, or pony dressage mount.
She loads and floats well, ties up, enjoys being groomed, stands quietly for plaiting and trimming.
She would suit an ambitious teen, as we have no suitable smaller rider here to further her training.
